Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM)

The TIPM is located in the engine compartment near theair cleaner assembly. This center contains cartridge fusesand mini fuses. A label that identifies each componentmay be printed on the inside of the cover. Refer to thegraphic below for FUSES/TIPM location.

• When installing the Totally Integrated PowerModule cover, it is important to ensure the cover isproperly positioned and fully latched. Failure todo so may allow water to get into the TotallyIntegrated Power Module, and possibly result inan electrical system failure.

• When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to useonly a fuse having the correct amperage rating. Theuse of a fuse with a rating other than indicated mayresult in a dangerous electrical system overload. Ifa properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicatesa problem in the circuit that must be corrected.
